How a lawyer fell into building the premier LinkedIn ghostwriting agency for legal
In 2020, Tony Albrecht and his wife faced a choice. Do we stay in St. Louis, where Tony was on track to make partner at an insurance firm in 2021? Or do we move to Canada to be closer to her family? They chose the latter, which meant that at 39, with a wife and 2 small children at home, Tony had to start over professionally.
Instead of continuing his career as a lawyer, Tony joined a friend’s consulting company in late 2021 in a business development role, one that required him to use LinkedIn. Like any good lawyer, Tony had ignored the platform through 12 years of practicing law.
But after taking a couple LinkedIn courses and spending more time on the platform, LinkedIn opened up in a new way.
Tony gained traction as a creator writing about creativity. He then started helping other people learn how to attract attention and build relationships in digital space.
He also noticed that very few lawyers understood what he’d learned. That insight became the spark that led to CONTENDER.
